  • 24-hour cafes in downtown Kingston, Ontario?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under downtown cafe | 3 Comments »

I’m looking for a 24-hour cafe or public space in downtown Kingston, Ontario. Something near Queen’s University or on Princess Street. Preferably some place with washrooms.

I can’t think of anything open that late except for the Denny’s – which is nowhere near downtown.

The JDUC (John Deutsch University Center) is open 24 hours, I think, but if security caught you sleeping there, they might escort you out of the building. There’s also no cafe, it closes at something like 10pm. But it has washrooms.

OH! Tim Horton’s. I’m not sure if the one on Bagot and Princess is open 24 hours, but there’s one at the base of Princess, near where the ferry to Wolfe Island boards, that is. It’s not the closest thing to Queen’s Campus, but it’s open 24 hours. The one on Bagot and Princess is obviously closer, but I really can’t remember if they are open 24h.

I don’t think there are any. Most places will close by latest 3.
On Queens campus I think there are some commons, I would check with Student Resource Dept at Queens if you are a student.

Isn’t the Starbucks on Division St. open all the time? Was there yesterday, I think the sign said that they were open "anytime."
