  • Is it ok to dress casual to the hard rock cafe restaurant?

Posted by admin on December 9th, 2010 and filed under cafe restaurants | 3 Comments »

Sorry if this question is silly but I’ve never been there before and I’m meeting some family members at the one in Chicago?

You won’t be out of place at all… nearly everyone is very casual. Shorts and t-shirts sometimes.

Do coupons make restaurants and cafes more popular to dine out because they have coupons, if you have any websites it would be very helpful

wife gets coupons to restaurants and shops all the time, usually around 50% off.

What are good cafe’s and restaurants to go to in Paris?

Posted by admin on November 23rd, 2010 and filed under cafe restaurants | 2 Comments »

Do any of you know good, not expensive, but not cheap cafe’s and restaurants to go to in Paris?

Address’s and names of the places would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks :)

Le Durer at 19 rue Yvonne le Tac is a favourite of ours. It is atmospheric, friendly and the food is high quality. The set menus are very good value. If you choose one of the higher priced fixed menus, look out for the sorbets for dessert. They are served with spirits!
Another favourite is Chez Marie at 27 Rue Gabrielle. Again, very atmospheric, cheap with good food and wine. There is a great bar on the corner, Rendezvous des Amis.
There are lots of good restaurants along Rue Trois Freres.
Metro Abbesses will drop you off close to these.
    Have fun trying them out!
