as I am in the early stages of planning, what are some quirky extras that I should add that other joints lack? Everyones opinion is welcome! :)

The bar, cafe, pub or (public house) has always been the village’s living room. It was literally where you go after working in your blacksmith’s shop where they had heating, lights and all your friends were there. If you want that atmosphere that is what you want to play to, a chill spot for the whole city. Couches, a fireplace…

Is there a bar, a cafe, or a restaurant in Tel Aviv, Israel called "The Fox Hole"?

Posted by admin on November 26th, 2011 and filed under cafe bar | 7 Comments »

Look. I asked a legitimate question regarding a location in Israel. What’s wrong with that?

There’s a club I know of, it’s called the F hole. maybe F stands for "fox", maybe not.
It’s a strictly gay bar, just like the majority of our clubs. We still call them "Discos" (western trends do not stick very fast here in Israel)

hey Guys I’m oppening a Cafe Bar wich is in 30′s Retro style inside,i need a catchy name for it.cheers?

your anwers are great. please keep them coming!

Starbuck’s did it for a long time before they started the food sales. They’re rolling back on the food sales these days cause they’re finding it not very profitable anymore. Coffee outlets sell lots of coffee related goods which are big money makers. Some also sell fine teas. Peets Coffee, Peerless Coffee & Teas and many others find a niche market and following.

I’m already have 13 neighbors (so please don’t answer saying you need 5 neighbors). I’ve searched every where. Do you need to be a certain level or something now? I’m a level 22 ( just if you wanted to know.)

Im on level 23 and I have it! Did you check the store place?

Is there a non-stop bar or cafe in edinburgh?

Posted by admin on August 8th, 2011 and filed under cafe bar | 2 Comments »

I need to travel to Edinburgh one day before my airplane is going, and i wouldn’t stay the whole night in the airport. So I need a cafe or bar. If you know something like that, and the place has a free wifi, please write it for me. :D (and sorry for my bad english, i try to learn it every day.) :D

I don’t think there is such a place in Edinburgh. You can easily get a bed for the night for about £20 if you search now. There are some clubs open late, and other pubs open very early but you wouldn’t want to be anywhere near them really.

In what ways can a cafe/bar that only serve beverages (no food) increase its revenue?

Posted by admin on August 5th, 2011 and filed under cafe bar | 1 Comment »

it is a challenge. thank you very much.
    response:
serving peanuts is a good idea. what if absolutely no food would be served for purist reasons?

If you mean it doesn’t sell food, would something like peanuts count? I see lots of bars put out salty snacks for free so that people get thirsty and order more drinks.

Edit: Well to increase revenue you need to increase the price of your drinks, sell more drinks, or some combination of the two. To sell more drinks it’s either having the normal crowd buy more than they currently do or finding ways to bring new people into the cafe/bar. Some places tie in to local events to bring more people in (anything local that happens nearby in the summer – like outdoor concerts?). Some places add things to the bar to bring people in and encourage them to stay – such as darts, pool, trivia contests.
