Just got myself involve in the start up of a cafe. Thus, need more information in the calculation like what need to be included(labour, electricity and etc). Thanks

Im totally not qualified to answer this question…but I own a business and I found the business planning software, which comes free in the Microsoft 07 Suite, excellent for this sort of stuff. And for accounting once you get established.

I have to write a paper for economics where I start my own business. I would like to open up a Cafe, but I don’t know how much money I would need to start it up. Does anyone know?

Property is the biggest factor? Renting or Leasing? Insurance, Permits, Investment, Bond, License are the biggest, How big? I’ll say between 12,000 dlls to 30,000 dlls.

I am looking for a pair of old saloon style cafe doors for my kitchen, 30" wide. I have looked at Lowe’s and several other places but nobody carries them!

I am planning a trip to the new Hard Rock Cafe in Biloxi, MS before I move off to school in August. I was suppose to go in September 2005 but Katrina came along a little too soon. I’ve heard great things about the franchise from friends of mine, but the just went to get t-shirts.

I really would just like to kinda get a feel for what I should expect when I go and about how much money I will need for one of my last road trips in south Mississippi.

Meals are anywhere from 10.95 to 24.95 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Niagara Falls and sandwiches with chips from 5.95 to 9.95.

If I were you, and had nothing specific in mind, I would try HGTV.com. I have saved many decorating shows that had good ideas, but you need to choose a theme based on the kind of food you want to serve and/or the cute name you want your place to have.

Try to have something about your place which nothing current in your area has (you might even want to visit some "competition" and ask others what they wish was "different") before deciding just what you want your cafe to be. Good luck with your venture!
