A ‘bunny rabbit cafe’ in the Japanese city of Nagoya lets pet owners ‘BYOB’ (Bring Your Own Bunny) or pay 60p a minute to cuddle the ’staff rabbits’.. Follow us on twitter at http://twitter.com/itn_news
love it! i have a … love it! i have a pet rabbit. i don’t see why the reporter calls the cats “more hygienic” saying that they get to roam among restaurant customers, though. any veterinarian will tell you that rabbits carry WAY less diseases than cats, and they cannot transmit them to humans near as easily.
Not really. Compare … Not really. Compare to Japanese school system the American schools has more days off from school than the Japanese. American kids have 5 days of school while Japanese kids have 6 days of school. They only get Sunday off unless they have a school project to work on.
Well they’re not in … Well they’re not in the same room as the food, obviously, and I can imagine that, as the Japanese are a very sanitary nation, they’d make them wash their hands. :/
As cute as that is … As cute as that is I can’t help but think it’s extremely unsanitary. Animals and children playing with them in the same place where food is prepared and eaten just seems like a bad idea.
Living in a country … Living in a country like Australia where you can’t even get vaccines for mixamatosis, and where it is ILLEGAL to keep rabbits as pets full stop in one of the states, I have to say that it would be great to see Australians embrace this loyal, funny, wonderful, entertaining and somewhat misunderstood animal to the extent that this cafe has. Rabbits are THE BEST pets there are. Most people dont realize their potential because they stuff them in hutches and forget about them. I’d pay to go there.
