      @XxPhantomxX57 — Maid Cafes have become very popular and have reached to outlying countries such as Taiwan. There was even a short-lived TV program called Maid in Akihabara that aired in Japan.

      @XxPhantomxX57 — …
      @XxPhantomxX57 — They are other wise known as Maid Cafes, originating in popularity in Akihabara to cater to otaku a.k.a. Japanese nerds. These young girls, dressed in 19th century French maid outfits, are there to pamper you…for a price. For exmaple, you can talk about anime with them or even play a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Due to competition, many Maid Cafes expand to other services such as massages. For more info, check out Tokyo Eye’s Maid Cafe on YouTube.

      what is a cosplay cafe anyways?
