  • Asheville Restaurants – Stoney Knob Cafe in Weaverville

Posted by admin on March 14th, 2010 and filed under cafe restaurants | 4 Comments »

Stoney Knob Cafe in North Asheville Weaverville is definitely an area hit that all of us look forward to eating at regularly. Their menu is incredible, the service is happy, classy, and prompt… and we always leave there very satisfied. Mr. John, his family, and his team have definitely made a “Must Eat At” landmark in Western North Carolina. http://www.StoneyKnobCafe.com

Your Welcome, thanks for the memories and comment. I think I met Gus a few times, and have heard only good things about him

I used to work at Stoney Knob Grocery across the street when Gus ran everything. While the two sons were in Atlanta? Gus worked his off. One man show. Great guy. He’s missed.

I remember when this was just a little roadside diner at the end of my road. I went here with my grandfather every day after school for the best vanilla milkshakes in town. Gus knew everybody by first name and knew their order before they said a word. I’m happy for their success, but I miss the charm from the way it used to be. Makes me homesick! Thanks for posting this!!
