Vancouvers First and Only Siphon Coffee Bar.
Each coffee is brewed fresh while you to watch.
Your choice of premium locally roasted beans are freshly grounded
Watch the magic happen as your coffee is brewed expertly using two stacked glass globes resting on a halogen beam heater.
The fresh ground coffee is added to top glass vessel while the bottom globe is heated to ideal temperature.
Gradually the heated water will travel up the glass tube to the upper vessel gently infusing the fresh coffee grounds.
Watch as a master brewer takes over to complete the gentle mixing technique with a bamboo paddle creating a whirlpool finishing the infusion process.
The master brewer removes the glass globes at precise time in accordance with subtle nuisances of each particular type of roast and origin of bean.
Tasting a Siphon Coffee
A cup of Siphon Coffee is very delicate, with no after taste. The taste is much smoother than regular coffee. You can taste the subtlety of the coffee beans.
To taste the different flavour levels, the coffee needs to be brewed slowly. And slowly it is since making a cup of Siphon coffee takes 5 minutes.
