  • Do you think and American, Japanese speaking female would be successful in a Maid Cafe?

Posted by admin on January 28th, 2012 and filed under american cafe | 6 Comments »

In every anime series there seems to be some sort of made cafe episode. I found out they actually exist and are very popular in Japan. There doesn’t seem to be any American maids but I think they would be quite successful considering American females are very popular to Japanese men and they also tend to have long legs and big breasts. So do you think they would be popular or is it based on something I can’t think of?
I am basing this off of Akihabara

You want to get a job there? I am sure they ‘ll love American girls for their rarity and the way they are portrayed in media as exotic and all that.

How do internet cafes work in Paris?

Posted by admin on January 21st, 2012 and filed under cafes | 5 Comments »

I’m moving to Paris in a week for 5 months and the place I’ll be living doesn’t have internet access.
They say there are internet cafes in the neighborhood, but are internet cafes free?
The reason this is a big deal for me is because I’m going to Paris for school. I’ll need to use the internet.

Also, do libraries have free internet access?
The reason I asked is because I’ve never used them, in any country.

Internet cafes charge you because they live on that. They rent PCs and charge you for Internet or to print.

The best is to bring your laptop, with wifi and go to Mc Donald’s, Starbucks or to other many places that have free wifi.

You can also use Internet for free at public libraries but you have to subscribe, it’s free.

Your school may give you better advice.

Public libraries, free acces to computers and Internet

Any internet cafes open late near Paddington or Victoria in London?

Posted by admin on January 1st, 2012 and filed under cafes | 2 Comments »

I need to print out a ticket but my local cafe’s printer (which I just went to) is not working. Is there anywhere near Paddington or Victoria that’s open late, preferably until 11pm, or at least 10pm? Would really appreciate if someone could reply quickly if there’s such a place.

If you have a smartphone, then showing the ticket on the screen is often fine if it is for a theatre or similar reservation.

If it’s a plane ticket then you need to know whether you are flying from Gatwick or Heathrow as the Heathrow express is from Paddington and the Gatwick Express is from Victoria.

A quick google found these in victoria but no opening hours:
