There is a Pizza Hut in Playa Dorada.

Are there any restaurants like Cafe Rio or Bajio in the Dallas/Fort Worth area?

I’ve been craving a good Mexican salad with pork barbecoa, rice, beans (not refried), a homemade soft tortilla, and that yummy creamy tomatilla dressing. Yummm!

I’ve never been to Cafe Rio, but a quick look at their website makes it look as if they might be something like Chuy’s. Check them out and see what you think.

Going out to eat for a friends bday and I am stuck between 2 restaurants the Banana Cafe and Lauriol Plaza?

Posted by admin on September 12th, 2011 and filed under cafe restaurants | 2 Comments »

    Any ideas?

I’ve never been to Banana Cafe, but I have eaten at Lauriol, and I have to say that Lauriol Plaza is overcrowded, a bit overpriced and not really that good. It seems to be a great place to get over your hangover, but not much more.

What is the difference between a latte, cafe au lait, and a cappucino?

Posted by admin on September 9th, 2011 and filed under cafe | 2 Comments »

I think I can distinguish between a latte/cap and cafe au lait. Cafe au lait is regular brewed coffee and milk, where as latte and cappucino are espresso with milk. But what is the difference between a latte and a cappucino?
So essentially, a latte just has more milk and less foam, is it? And was I correct about the cafe au lait?

No clue why the people at Starbucks think that a cappucino is half espresso and half milk. Anyways a cappucino is one third espresso, one third steamed milk, and one third froth. A cafe au lait is steamed milk and coffee. A latte is espresso and steamed milk with very little froth.

Are there any music cafe type of restaurants in edmonton?

Posted by admin on September 6th, 2011 and filed under cafe restaurants | 2 Comments »

Where people go and play their music?
    Anything like that?
I always read about them in books, and it seems so cool, I totally want to go to one!

Blue Chair Cafe often has live music, you sometimes need to pay cover though. I’ve heard that Wild Earth does too and Remedy used to… Not sure if they still do.

Are there other restaurants like Rainforest Cafe but not part of Landry’s Restaurants?

Posted by admin on September 2nd, 2011 and filed under cafe restaurants | 1 Comment »

Landry’s Restaurants owns Rainforest Cafe, Aquarium restaurant, Bubba Gump and some others. I was looking for similar restaurants anywhere in the U.S.

well, I saw a place in Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida… it was something like Dino-land, But I’m not sure if it was part of Landry’s Restaurants or not…
