  • How to remove a cafe au lait birthmark at home?

Posted by admin on August 30th, 2011 and filed under cafe | 1 Comment »

I have a HUGE cafe au lait spot on my thigh. I hate it because it is to my knee and goes about to my butt. I am really light and it is like 4-5 shades darker than my normal skin color. I don’t wear shorts because of it. I just feel really self concious. I don’t even care if it makes the spot lighter as long as you can’t tell its there. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you go to your doctor and show them and tell them and they will refer you to a Specialist dermatologist and then you can go there and have them look at it and have them remove it I had something like this too but it was on my ankle and i had to go to a doctor and have them look at it and then refer me to a dermatologist

    good luck to you

How many different jobs are involved when working at a Cafe?

Posted by admin on August 25th, 2011 and filed under cafe | 1 Comment »

I’m writing a story that centers around a cafe. I need to know the different jobs in a cafe. Give what you know. Thank you.

Making the coffee, washing the dishes, cashier, serving breads, pastries, and other foods, sometimes serving to costumers, and other times opening and mixing wine. Interacting with the costumers, cleaning tables, keeping things tidy. Things like that, I’m sure.

Are there any american restaurants/cafes in Bellagio Italy?

Posted by admin on August 22nd, 2011 and filed under american cafe | 2 Comments »

We have been in Bellagio almost a week. Having an amazing time, but I am dying for a traditional cup of coffee and breakfast.

I think you will find that traditional coffee is Italian; the American watered down version came a lot later on. You can ask for an Americano or Filter coffee which may be served or a coffee with hot water on the side which you can add to make it longer.

As for breakfast; why not just enjoy a non-fattening European breakfast for a change? It won’t kill you.

What’s a good bar/cafe/venue for a young American college student to hang out in Melbourne, Australia?

Posted by admin on August 20th, 2011 and filed under american cafe | 4 Comments »

My good friend is studying abroad until November. She arrived last month and has been having a difficult time making friends. She’s really neat, and likes beer, music, learning about new cultures, and wildlife conservation. She’s not a stereotypical American. Anyways, she’s made a couple of friends (mostly non-Australian since she’s in a dorm specifically for foreign students), and wants to meet Australians to befriend and possibly become romantically involved with.

She feels nervous about going out by herself because of social anxiety, and the friends she made are also nervous about it and don’t want to go out. She’s afraid of being judged, especially since she’s an American and we’re not all that popular in the world, lol. She needs to find a comfortable spot that she can spend time in, in order to talk to people and make new friends. What are some low-key, comfortable, and cheaply-priced places for her to hang out in? She likes pubs and cafes, but no clubs.

    Thanks!

Cafè Flaunt on Bridge Road over in Richmond is popular with young, friendly people. An easy going place that dishes up superb muffins and top quality coffee.

If I walked into an American cafe would it be exactly like a scene in Friends?

I’m set to go to America next month and my brother said when he went he thought he was being filmed – he said life was seemingly like one big friends episode…

    No…

What kind of turkey do they use at diners and cafes?

Posted by admin on August 10th, 2011 and filed under cafes | 5 Comments »

It’s so much thicker but it doesn’t seem like it’s coming from an actual turkey breast. My mom goes to the deli in shop rite and asks for thin sliced turkey and when I put a few slices on my sandwich, it looks pathetic because there is nothing there but I don’t want to load up 50 slices of turkey on one sandwich!! So how do the diners and cafes get their turkey so perfect?!

Most diners use processed turkey(it arrives pre-cooked) they just re-heat it and serve. It’s basically the same stuff your mom gets from the supermarket deli only sliced a little thicker. How about asking your mom to have the deli workers slice a quarter pound or so slightly thicker for you?
