What are some underground music cafes or pubs offering good alternative music in London?

Posted by admin on July 27th, 2011 and filed under cafes | 1 Comment »

It’s going to be my first trip to London and I want to get the best out of my visit. Of course I’m going to take a look at the regular tourist sites yet I want to get a taste of the local life too. Any recommendations on can’t miss out pubs etc would be appreciated. I want to get a good itinerary planed out.

I would just take a walk and explore that for myself

Where are some of the good neighbourhoods to live in Turin? Residential but with nice shops and cafes?

I am considering moving to Turin and will be visiting in order to look at apartments etc. I would like to concentrate my search on streets that are in good neighbourhoods. I don’t need to be close to schools but relatively quiet and with easy walk to food shops and cafes.

I am from Turin, but I live in England now. Believe me, in Italy you will have no problem at all finding food shops and cafes at walking distance from anywhere you live. Italian cities are packed with cafes, literally one on every corner if not more. Same with food shops.
Crocetta should be a nice area, and also Mirafiori, and Lingotto (generally the south area of Turin is nicer than the north)

Are there any cafes in walking distance of the Mall of America?

Posted by admin on July 20th, 2011 and filed under cafes | 2 Comments »

I’m going to the Mall of America tomorrow, but the only time I can get there is at 9, an hour before it opens. I was just wondering if there are any cafes or such in walking distance (I won’t have access to a car) that I can wait in for an hour. I’d prefer I not need to loiter around the mall, but I’m not having much luck finding any cafes or restaurants nearby on google, so thank you for your knowledge!
    Thanks again, it’s greatly appreciated.
