Just wondering if attending food fairs would help my business grow. And also why is it important that i do attend these fairs. How can this make my business more succesful? And also what are some other ways i can promote my small cafe/restaurant business. I sell smoked meat to a few restaurants and cafes around melbourne. Thanks guys
Food fairs are basically a marketing/advertising type of thing. You let people either sample your food for free or charge them a small amount. If your food is good, that will start a word-of-mouth advertising chain, and you would probably see your sales revenue increase.
What do you think?
being an ex-smocker, I’m adamant against smocking in any public place.
I support the ban 100%
Do any of you know good, not expensive, but not cheap cafe’s and restaurants to go to in Paris?
Address’s and names of the places would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Le Durer at 19 rue Yvonne le Tac is a favourite of ours. It is atmospheric, friendly and the food is high quality. The set menus are very good value. If you choose one of the higher priced fixed menus, look out for the sorbets for dessert. They are served with spirits!
Another favourite is Chez Marie at 27 Rue Gabrielle. Again, very atmospheric, cheap with good food and wine. There is a great bar on the corner, Rendezvous des Amis.
There are lots of good restaurants along Rue Trois Freres.
Metro Abbesses will drop you off close to these.
Have fun trying them out!
For instance to advertise-lets say I had designed my own graphics for the cafepress shirts.
Could I make a website and advertise them there and if people choose to order them, just link that to cafe press or is that against the cafe press rules?
Thanks!
I’m sorry I can’t give you the answer you were looking for but have you tried Zazzle? Very similar service but I have bought from both and think zazzle products are superior. They encourage linking to websites and blogs. Their flash panels are great and the banners are ok.
Actually i am at the internet cafe and want to download file from my e-mail but i can’t becuase the system is locked from the behind and i cannot even go to my computer to set it down my way. And the owner of the shop don’t know how to enable it also….
Any way out of this
Depends on the security he uses. If its a security software the cafe is using then you must know what program is it and have admin rights to it to disable it.
Else
If you are using IE:
click Tools -> Internet Options -> Security Tab
click on Internet (the globe) then click custom level button
find the Download option and enable it.
I’ve been to the Maple Leaf and The Sports Cafe and they aren’t that great. The wings are soggy and I’m looking for decent crispy wings. Any thoughts?
The Chicago Rib Shack, 145 Knightsbridge, SW1X 7PA. Tel 020 7591 4664. As authentic as it gets and Americans tell me that the chicken wings are perfect and crispy, so it must be good !
I am planning to study at Ryerson University or University of Toronto (Missisauga or St. George campus), thinking about what options I have for my application next year.
I want to work my way to opening a cafe with my mother in the future, so what courses would you suggest I take?
While it doesn’t matter what you major in, liberal arts or business or whatever, there are some basic classes you’ll want to take.
Economics/ MicroEconomics.
Finance 1
Marketing
Business Management 1
Even if your BA is in Music or Art, (which might not be a bad idea if you’re going to own a cafe) if you take those 4 electives, you should have enough basic knowledge to keep your business afloat.
I am planning on starting my own cosplay cafe in Washington and I have no idea how to start please help me.

Does anyone know if, for concerts at the swedish american hall (cafe du nord), they sell tickets at the door on the day of the concert?

If the event isn’t sold out they do.
I would like to move to Switzerland and start a business. A cannabis Cafe would be nice. I know its legal to have marijuana but is it legal to grow and sell it? I am an American Citizen but can i move to Switzerland and start this business? do i need permits and such? how much would it cost to do so?
Only the possession of minor quantities (=a few grams) of cannabis for personal use is tolerated in Switzerland, but not fully legalized. Producing, selling and buying (also called "dealing"!) of cannabis is illegal. So, the question for permits and such is obsolete.
